Very much agree with you. I have in the past leaned too much on the fear side, but my excuse is most of my social circle thinks it's all a hoax. There are tons of books that can explain the science. For those are the alarmist side I recommend the book Unsettled. The solution focus has been too on conservation of emitting CO2. The author suggests we focus more on adaptability. I do think it's crazy not to be in the Paris climate agreement. Not because it's going to solve the problem but because why wouldn't we want to be an economic and science leader where so much money is being spent. Brian Kemp has actually done a good job bringing in new industries and jobs for what most would consider green friendly. He's been smart not advertising the "green" aspect. From a political view, the Republicans drive me crazy with not accepting the science. The Democrats drive me crazy with bad solutions (not really a fan of subsidizing electric vehicles)
